An excellent and early Worcester bell shaped mug beautifully decorated in under glaze blue with The Walk in the Garden pattern. A workmans mark beneath the lower handle terminal. It has been estimated that only 10% of Worcester porcelain had workmans marks not placed on the base making this a rarer example. In fine condition the painting is detailed and clear, no chips, cracks or restoration. A minute overglazed impression to the rim which has two microscopic pieces of kiln dirt in. Measures 4.5 inches or 11.5 cms high.
